Design Build services to replace generator and associated electrical equipment and provide 15 minute FEBR Generator Enclosure.
  • Design Build services to Survey to inspect, assess, field verification of existing conditions
  • Develop and implement design

  • Shipping, coordination with post, local equipment vendor and COR.
  • Layout and construct new equipment pads
  • Coordination with local subs to prepare pad / provide concrete, and post. Strict security access requirements
  • Construction of weatherproof 15 minute FEBR enclosure with sound attenuation
  • FEBR doors, louvers, hardware
  • New compound diesel generator
  • Day tank / Fuel delivery System

  • Integral load bank
  • Controls
  • Arc Flash Study / Arc Flash labeling
  • Lights, outlets, subpanel
  • Fire alarm and Security
  • Extended Exhaust stack and ducting.
  • Electrical service, new Cable and Conduit
  • Replace breakers as needed throughout embassy compound
  • Surge Protection for ALL load panelboards throughout embassy compound
  • Sump pump and Drainage Control in main Electrical Room
  • Training, Testing and Commissioning.
  • Electrical Design – team with E.K. Fox to provide integrated design
  • Continual and open communications between all key stakeholders
  • Provide for a continuing level of operation of the Embassy missions critical functions during all construction periods
  • Prepare project manuals, bill of materials, quality control plan, construction schedules, construction cost estimates, and verify design/build costs.
  • Compliance with security requirements, CSP.
  • Prepare all required reports
  • Cleanup and Demobilization Project close-out documentation

Project award: 7/2016, Actual Completion: 7/2017 Originally Scheduled Completion Date: 6/2017

Completion date was extended due to delays in government design review as well as long lead times in manufacturing of the equipment. Project completed on time and within budget.
