U.S. Embassy Location: Aubja, Nigeria Agency: U.S. Department of State Office of Overseas Buildings Operations Design Build Services for 100kW Photovoltaic Electrical Generating System Prime Contractor:- Design Build to include associated Engineering, Architectural, and Controls, to design and construct a photovoltaic electrical generating system and tie in with the existing building electrical.- Photovoltaic electrical generating system mounted on the roofs of the US Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria.- Prime power augmented with photovoltaic power generated.- High efficiency solar panels used to produce the maximum power.- Roll up inverters for ease of maintenance.- Power derived from the photovoltaic panels tied into the building grid and controls.- Modified existing architectural, structural, and electrical system to work with the new photovoltaic system.- Modified electrical system in the equipment room to accept the new PV power source and use the prime power to augment the PV power.- PV power system designed with the capability to monitor and display power output.- Power production determined by the existing free roof spaces/area and used as the basis for sizing the new power system.
